Spring sees the introduction of the new Dremel 7700 cordless multi-tool - perfect for small, quick household jobs such as sanding, polishing and engraving.

The Dremel 7700 is an easy-to-use, lightweight, cordless multi-tool using a 7.2V Ni-Cad battery and compatible with Dremel's extensive range of 150 accessories. It is aimed at people who maybe haven't used a cordless rotary tool before for smaller chores in and around the house - projects such as sanding window-frames, engraving house nameplates and polishing materials from metal to leather.

It's just as useful for outdoor household tasks, such as sanding down and polishing the barbeque, cleaning up the weather-damaged surface of a wooden or metal table, and quickly sharpening the garden tools. The cordless nature of the Dremel 7700 allows for greater mobility and flexibility wherever it is needed.

The new multi-tool has two speed settings for better control and accuracy (10,000/20,000 RPM) and can be fully charged in just three hours.

Dremel has packaged the 7700 with a charger and a Softbag which acts as a storage case, as well as 30 high quality Dremel accessories to get you started. A pictorial welcome poster helps to guide you through some of the tool's applications.

The Dremel 7700 household kit will be competitively priced at £44.99 (SRP) from DIY stores or online at dremel-direct.com.
