Readers of a leading weekly car magazine have rated NFU Mutual Britain’s best motor insurer. In a survey of 46,000 readers of Auto Express magazine, NFU Mutual swept the board and gained an overall approval rating of 87.96 per cent for its motor insurance service.
The magazine’s “Driver Power ” survey covered 45 leading insurance providers and brokers and readers were asked to judge the companies on overall performance, communication and helpfulness.
Ratings of each company were based on a minimum of 100 customer reviews. Readers were asked to score their motor insurance company out of five for each of the categories to provide an average score for each company.
Auto Express tells its readers: “The Driver Power 2006 ranking is littered with online brokers, but the number one firm doesn’t even offer quotes via its website. Specialising in drivers living in the countryside, NFU Mutual has swept the board. If you want the very best why not give it a try?”
Charles Beighton, NFU Mutual Group Marketing Manager said: “We are delighted to have come out top in the Auto Express survey and to have received such an overwhelming endorsement from our motor insurance customers.”
