House hunters have been quick to reserve homes at Barratt’s Wellington development with just a limited number of homes available in the current phase.

Sales director Caroline Hill said that only eight homes remain of the current release at Cades Farm. “The development has been a great success for us and we have just a few three and four bedroom homes currently available."

As an added bonus the homes are available with the government’s popular HomeBuy Direct scheme which helps first time buyers and others onto the housing ladder while part exchange is available for those moving up to something larger.

Current availability includes three bedroom detached homes priced from £205,000 and with HomeBuy Direct this comes down to £143,500.

People who take advantage of the government initiative HomeBuy Direct, can move into a new home for just 70 per cent of the purchase price and a deposit of just five per cent.

The remaining 30 per cent of the purchase price is funded by a joint equity loan from Barratt and the Government’s Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).

For those looking to move up the housing ladder there are also four bedroom homes priced from £245,000 and with part exchange Barratt is your guaranteed buyer – cutting out all of the costs and stress which can be involved in a housing chain.
