Show home offers insight into life in Rugby
Twenty-one brand new and affordable houses will be available to purchase at Orbit First Step’s Butterfields development in Rugby from April and you can visit the showhome and register your interest at a launch event on Saturday 27 March between 10am and 3pm.
There will also be an Independent Financial Advisor available on the day to discuss your mortgage options if required. Attendance is expected to be high so you are advised to call in advance to book your appointment.
Located just off Bilton Road, the development offers a variety of two and three bedroom houses on a New Build HomeBuy basis which enables buyers to purchase an affordable share of the property. A minimum 25 per cent share (subject to affordability) on one of the 2-bedroom homes costs from £31,237.50, or from £34,987.50 for one of the three-bedroom properties.
Most purchasers will need to raise a mortgage to purchase their share and then pay a subsidised rent on the remaining share. They can also ‘staircase’ - purchasing additional shares in the future, if they wish, until they own the property outright, just as they would if buying with a conventional mortgage. Orbit First Step estimates that you would need a household income from around £15,400 for the two-bedroom properties to be affordable and from £17,100 for a three-bed.
All the houses include a fitted kitchen with oven, hob and canopy as well as gas central heating, PVCu double glazed windows, allocated parking and a turfed rear garden with shed and water butt.
The homes also benefit from their convenient location. The local area is well served by a supermarket and other small businesses, with excellent transport links to Rugby town centre and railway station. The motorway network is also within easy reach for travel throughout Warwickshire and beyond.
Sales and Marketing Manager, Diane Webster said: “We recently sold the last of our homes at Caldecott Manor and we are delighted to have the opportunity to help even more people get onto the property ladder in Rugby. New Build HomeBuy is an increasingly popular scheme that has helped hundreds of people across the country to find a property that they can afford so if you are looking for a new home, please come along to see what our homes have to offer and chat to our team to see if we can help you buy a home of your own. As long as you have an annual household income that is less than £60,000, we may well be able to help you.”
