Show off your silky soccer skills with Seat
SEAT is stepping up its search for the silky-skilled soccer stars of tomorrow with its Kicks & Tricks online competition.
Hot on the heels of the inaugural SEAT FIVES tournament, which is reaching its climax with the top teams preparing to battle it out for ultimate five-a-side glory on Aston Villa’s Premiership pitch at Villa Park next month, the equally exciting Kicks & Tricks challenge is also gathering pace.
SEAT’s innovative Kicks & Tricks competition challenges over-18s to submit video clips of their ‘freestyle football’ skills via SEAT’s membership website, Club SEAT.
Anyone can log on to the site to view the clips, but only Club SEAT members can upload their football videos or vote for their favourite.
An online vote among Club members will decide which talented youngsters go on to perform live at April’s SEAT FIVES final. The outright winner at that event will be offered the chance to experience top drawer European football at its finest as a VIP spectator at the 2010 UEFA Europa League final in Germany.
The winning freestyler will be selected by new SEAT UK ambassador Dan Magness, a world record holder for freestyle football skills. Meanwhile, even those Club SEAT members whose soccer skills aren’t capable of dazzling the crowds could be in with a chance of a trip to the UEFA Europa League Final in Hamburg.
Members who visit the Club SEAT UK website and vote for their favourite clip will be included in a free draw to win a pair of tickets to the UEFA Europa League Hamburg final, along with travel to and accommodation in the German city.
Club SEAT Manager Andy Guy said: ‘Our exciting Kicks & Tricks contest is already generating some stunning videos. However there’s still plenty of time to enter, and I’m keen for all budding soccer freestyle stars to get their clips in to us.
‘Armchair footy aficionados should also log in to Club SEAT to cast their important vote, which automatically also enters them into the draw for UEFA Europa League Final tickets.
‘The prize on offer really is a ‘money can’t buy’ trip to what I’m sure will be a thrilling European final – so it’s time to get kicking, or voting!’
