The Verdura Spa philosophy is centred on balancing the body and mind. Set amid fragrant, sun-kissed olive groves and gardens the Verdura Spa offers a complete holistic approach to health, wellbeing and fitness. The programmes are mainly based on natural Sicilian raw materials, fresh plant extracts and cold-pressed plant oils.
Treatments at the Spa are focused around the four key areas of anti-ageing, detoxification, rejuvenation and diet. The experienced health and therapy staff will consult with each guest and develop a personalised programme of treatments and fitness activities. Treatments can be tailor-made to concentrate on massage, golf-related exercise, or nutrition. Treatments such as facials and body wraps take inspiration from the island, using local ingredients such as blood oranges, lemons, volcanic mud and seawater.
For ready-made invigorating packages, three specialised ‘Wellness’ Programmes are available, incorporating specific diets, activities and treatments. The programmes are: Cleansing; Detox and Energising; and Fitness, Muscle – Building and Toning.
Housed in pavilions grouped around an open-air courtyard, the Verdura Spa has extensive treatment rooms, a 25m indoor swimming pool, a large hammam, saunas, a state-of-the-art gym and hair and beauty studio. The Spa also has its own health bar and restaurant, where light meals, fruit juices, vegetable juices and infusions as well as healing teas are on offer.
The Spa has a unique group of four outside Thalasso pools, heated between 25 and 37 degrees centigrade, each offering varying salt densities, minerals and organisms, and each with a series of waterfalls and whirlpools. These waters are used to tone, moisturise and revitalise the skin as well as encourage circulation.

The Verdura Spa is open daily from 08:00 to 20:00 (winter) 07:00 to 21:00 (summer). Spa treatments are available from 10:00 to 20:00. All guests have complimentary use of the gym sauna, hammam, spa indoor pool, relaxation areas.
