Suzanne Shaw starts work on Emmerdale
Suzanne Shaw's son is upset she's landed a part in 'Emmerdale'. The pop star-turned-actress - who recently started working as Eve Jenson on the ITV1 soap - has revealed her five-year-old tot Corey hates her new job because it means he can't watch his favourite cartoon 'Ben 10' in the evenings.
She said: "Corey is upset because he can't watch 'Ben 10' before he goes to bed any more - we have to have 'Emmerdale' on instead."
The youngster is also upset his mum - who previously took the lead as Roxy Hart in 'Chicago' - doesn't plan to star in a musical again any time soon. With her new job, Suzanne and her DJ boyfriend Jason King have relocated to Leeds, but commute to London often to take Corey to school.
While he misses watching her perform life, the youngster loves living in two houses.
Suzanne added: "Also, he's sad that he won't be seeing me on stage. I tell him we can still go to the theatre, but he says, 'I want to see Mummy on stage.' However, he's excited to have two bedrooms, so I'm sure that's making up for it."
