Family build their future in Bracknell

Moving out of London to a brand new Redrow home in Bracknell has given the Wilton family room to grow.

Parents David and Mandy can relax in style and comfort as they raise daughter Abigail in their four-bedroom Lavenham at Aaragon Mews, part of the wider Jennett’s Park development on the edge of the town.

“We didn’t really want to move out of London but Mandy was expecting our daughter Abigail and we needed a lot more space. We couldn’t have bought somewhere as large as this in Kingston for a similar price,” David commented.

“I run a mystery shopping company and was looking at the standard of service offered by different housebuilders when I first visited Jennett’s Park and gave Redrow the highest mark. After looking around I started thinking about moving there and went back with Mandy.”

A week later they had sold their existing property in London but hadn’t yet found the right house for them. It was only when they returned from holiday that the Wiltons decided Aaragon Mews was where they wanted to raise their family.

David continued: “I’m a former estate agent and am used to buying off-plan but Mandy isn’t. When we chose our plot it was only a third built and we drove past once a week to see the work progress. We finally got to see the finished house just before we exchanged contracts.

“It was the first house at Aaragon Mews to feature Redrow’s new-look interiors and it’s really enhanced the property as everything’s really good quality. The after sales care is excellent too and we’ve even let another Redrow customer view our home so she can see what hers will be like.”

There will be no queuing for the bathroom in the Wilton household, as the property boasts not one but two en-suites plus a family bathroom.

“The open plan kitchen and dining area is a big plus as there are double doors leading outside so we can keep an eye on our daughter – and any future children – while they’re playing,” David said.

In the future Jennett’s Park will include a country park of 91 acres and will also come complete with a doctor’s surgery, primary school and 10 play areas. Approximately half of the development is set aside for open space, retained woodland and recreational areas.

“It’s the ideal location for us, as it’s between both sets of grandparents and has good train links,” David commented.

“Hopefully by 2014, when Abigail’s ready to start school, the new school will be open.”

A selection of three and four-bedroom homes are currently available at Aaragon Mews, with prices starting from £284,950.
