Citroen C4 drives down EMIs fleet costs and CO2 emissions

By specifying new Citroen C4 1.6HDi 90hp VTR hatchbacks, Egton Medical Information Systems Ltd (EMIS) has taken another step to drive down emissions and to improve the fuel efficiency of its car fleet.  The company is currently taking delivery of 30 of these highly efficient and well equipped cars, which combine CO2 emissions of just 115g/km with Band C £0 VED (from 1st April), and exceptional 64.2mpg combined cycle fuel economy.

EMIS, one of Citroen’s longest-standing fleet customers, will buy 75 Citroen cars in 2010, the majority being C4 1.6HDi 90hp VTR hatchbacks - with the balance made up of C5 1.6HDi 110hp VTR saloons.   All the vehicles are purchased outright and will be supplied by Citroen dealer David Fox of Harrogate.

EMIS, which has been buying Citroens for 18 years, has a virtually all Citroen, all HDi powered, 300+ strong fleet.  The company operates its Citroens over a four year, 100,000 mile service life.
