Redrow launches new Heritage Collection in Bristol

Home buyers in Bristol will soon be able to experience Redrow’s exciting New Heritage Collection.
A range of 34 different homes, The New Heritage Collection is a premium housing product with more than a hint of nostalgia, influenced by the ‘Arts and Crafts’ era, but boasting a specification to meet the needs of modern lifestyles.
The new homes will be available in future phases of Cheswick, Redrow’s urban village in Stoke Park, where one eager buyer has already reserved their preferred plot.
Hayley Zaple, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South West), said: “The New Heritage Collection has been wowing customers across the UK since it was launched in February. Knowing how popular the new designs have been in other Redrow regions, it was no surprise that one of the homes at Aurora Spring was reserved even before we officially launch the latest phase at Cheswick.”
Buyers in Bristol will be able to see all that The New Heritage Collection has to offer in May, when a new show village featuring five fully furnished show homes opens at Cheswick.
Before then, a number of properties are available to buy ‘off plan’, giving purchasers the pick of the plots.
“The New Heritage Collection was designed in response to feedback from our customers, who said that they want a conventional home, preferably detached, with an easily accessible garage and a garden of their own,” Hayley commented.
“They want something that looks traditional, perhaps evocative of the family home they grew up in, but they want it to have the latest statement-making kitchens, bathrooms and good quality fixtures and fittings.
“In designing this, some of the architectural influences, styles, shapes, colours and textures reflected in the Arts and Crafts movement have been brought right up to date with high-specification interiors styled for modern living.”
Some of the external features which typify the Arts and Crafts era will be seen in varying degrees on the Stoke Park homes - including dropped eaves, projecting plinths, bays and other distinctive window styles, often with leaded lights. Other highlights will include timber or tiled canopies over doors and windows, supported by decorative gallows brackets, and the use of larch lap boarding, while front door styles and colours will also reflect the ‘heritage’ feel.
These traditional exteriors will hide a contemporary interior specification, featuring convivial open plan living spaces, fashionable kitchen designs with floor to ceiling units, central islands and top brand name appliances, plus bathrooms that are sleek, modern and pleasing to the eye.
New Heritage Collection homes available at Cheswick include the three-bedroom ‘Broadway’ within the Aurora Spring phase, priced at £209,995.
