Linden Homes Western launches its much anticipated development next to ssGB at Great Western Dockyard on 10th April. The major regeneration project marks a new chapter in the story of Bristol’s floating dockyard.

The first phase of the prestigious scheme, The Works, is a collection of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments that is set to become the most sought after address in the city. Built in conjunction with the ssGB Trust and incorporating the Trust’s new visitor centre, the development is built on the footprint of Brunel’s original steam works and will echo the buildings that were lost in the Second World War.

But whilst the external elevations may hark back to a golden age in Bristol’s maritime history, inside it is a very different story. The individually designed apartments have been arranged to provide the flexible space and masses of light that are so important to contemporary living. Specification will be to the high standard you would expect in such a prestigious development. There will be a choice of views from large windows with the water, the cityscape and ssGB herself vying for attention.

It is rare to be able to live so close to the water in such an historic location. It also makes a change to be on the edge of the city centre without having the noise and inconvenience of its traffic. With easy access into the city and Clifton, The Works is set to become an enviable place to live.

Prices will start at around £150,000 for a 1 bedroom apartment which represents excellent value for money. It is clear that this will be a unique opportunity for warehouse style living amidst so much of the city’s heritage. If you want to be one of the first to see this ground breaking development, the sales and marketing suite will be open from 10th April.
