Sinai savings for family holidays to Egypt

8th April 2010 Print

Families looking to travel to Egypt this summer might like to try the only part of Egyptian territory located in Asia as opposed to Africa, the Sinai Peninsular.

The Adventure Company is adding an extra incentive to visit the ‘bridge’ between the two continents by offering a free three night Red Sea extension on Sinai trips departing June to August 2010.

Accompanied by Bedouin hosts, head into the desert for a camel trek to the top of the White Canyon before descending through the canyon to discover Ein Hudra, a lush palm oasis and natural spring, and camp overnight. Take a jeep safari into the ‘Lawrence of Arabia Desert’ to examine the frozen dinosaur rock formation and the sand dune of Hadoudah which is the highest in the region and great for sand boarding!

With plenty of activities on offer, including a boat snorkel safari and the Red Sea extension to take advantage of the snorkelling opportunities, this really is fun for all the family.

The eight day Active in the Sinai Teenage Adventure plus the three night Red Sea Extension starts from £919 per person, departing 1st or 14th August 2010, including seven nights accommodation (six nights hotel, one night Bedouin Camp), transport (mini bus, camel, horse, boat, 4WD) and most meals (all breakfasts, four lunches, two dinners).

The free three night Red Sea extension is also available on the eight day Sinai Discovered trip, departing 20th June 2010.
