Redrow hosts its own house warming in North Yorkshire

Home buyers are invited to join Redrow as the company celebrates its new Heritage Collection with simultaneous events at two developments near Selby.
Patsy Aicken, sales manager for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), said: “The new Heritage Collection is a premium housing product combing traditional exteriors with the latest statement-making interiors. It’s been wowing customers at Saxon Court in Sherburn in Elmet and is now also available at Mulberry Grange in Hambleton.”
Influenced by the ‘Arts and Crafts’ era, the New Heritage Collection consists of 34 different house designs available in brick and render finishes. Between Saxon Court and Mulberry Grange, buyers can experience five of the designs in all their glory.
“At Redrow we understand that it’s important for our customers to be able to look around a show home to picture themselves living there,” Patsy commented.
“It’s only a short journey from Saxon Court to Mulberry Grange and by visiting both locations home hunters will be able to view a broader range of homes from our new Heritage Collection, enabling them to make an informed decision about the right home for them.”
Buyers who visit both developments on Sunday, April 25 will be able to enjoy refreshments including ice cream from a traditional ice cream tricycle reminiscent of yesteryear. There will also be competitions encouraging potential purchasers to look closely at the new homes.
Some of the external features which typify the Arts and Crafts era – and will be seen in varying degrees at Saxon Court and Mulberry Grange – include dropped eaves, projecting plinths, bays and other distinctive window styles, often with leaded lights. Other highlights include timber or tiled canopies over doors and windows, supported by decorative gallows brackets, and the use of larch lap boarding, while front door styles and colours also reflect the ‘heritage’ feel.
“People think they want an older property, buy one and then spend thousands of pounds and invest a lot of energy turning it into something that a new home already offers,” Patsy commented.
“Buying one of our new homes could save you a massive amount of time and money, as behind the traditional exteriors there’s a contemporary interior specification, featuring convivial open plan living spaces, fashionable kitchen designs with floor to ceiling units, central islands and top brand name appliances, plus bathrooms that are sleek, modern and pleasing to the eye.”
At Saxon Court a choice of three and four-bedroom homes are currently available, with prices starting from £184,999.
Prices at Mulberry Grange start from £224,999.
For more information go along to Saxon Court and Mulberry Grange on Sunday, April 25 or visit the show homes, open daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
