Paris on two wheels

15th April 2010 Print

Nip around the sights of Paris – by cycle and on foot - taking in ‘must sees’ such as the Eiffel Tower, Napoleon’s Tomb, The Louvre and the Tuileries Gardens – courtesy of specialist operator, Belle France.

Paris is more cycle and walking-friendly than ever before and the company is highlighting three-night breaks – under the guidance of enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides – which include a private guided bicycle tour and walking in the Latin Quarter.

Guests are based at the Hotel des Grandes Ecoles, a pretty hotel of character in the heart of the historical Latin Quarter and close to Ste Genevieve Hill, the Sorbonne and the Pantheon.

The twin-share price of £645 per person, applicable between now and the end of September, includes return rail travel from St Pancras International, hotel accommodation (as above) with breakfast, one dinner at the art-deco Le Buisson Arden restaurant, cycle hire and tours.  For visitors making their own travel arrangements, the cost is £525 per person.

A discount of £65 per person applies to the above prices for those happy to take a group cycle tour, rather than private.
