Team Apprentice, led by ‘pants man’ creator Philip Taylor, ably supported by fellow Apprentice Kimberly Davis, successfully beat the City suits to launch Action Against Hunger’s latest fundraising drive in the City of London, The London Twin Peak Challenge in association with The Broadgate Tower and CityPoint.

With their competitive edge to the fore, the Apprentices sprinted up the stairs at The Broadgate Tower, preparing City workers to take part in a sponsored challenge to climb 1512 steps to reach the top of two City landmark buildings.

The London Twin Peak Challenge is the ultimate urban climbing quest. The Challenge will take place on Sunday May 23rd 2010, when participants will be asked to step up 935 feet to the finish line.

Nick Hewer, Lord Sugar’s trusted advisor on The Apprentice, says that he’s convinced that this is one task that Team Apprentice should be able to handle: “As long as they keep to the one direction, they have to reach the top.” He’s encouraging all active city people to support the London Twin Peak Challenge. “It’s not going to be easy tackling 67 floors of a total of 935 feet, but we know there are some real winners out there who want to fight their way to the peak of the City.”
