TLH Leisure Resort, in the heart of the English Riviera, Torquay, is offering two new short breaks combining popular pastimes with accommodation in their 3 star hotels.

‘Meet the Gardener’ and ‘Winning with Watercolours’ both offer informative programmes and you don’t have to be an expert to take part.

‘Meet the Gardener’ promises visits to some of Devon’s most exquisite gardens. Garden expert Judy Disney will be hosting the 5 night midweek break, based in the Carlton Hotel.

Garden lovers can enjoy trips to renowned RHS Rosemoor; the National Trust gem, Knightshayes Court and the tranquil site of Buckland Moachorum. All diverse and splendid gardens in their own ways.

By way of contrast, guests will also have chance to meet the owners of three very different private gardens, each with their own stories, tips and experiences on how they keep their garden in shape – and looking beautiful – throughout the year.

‘Winning with Watercoulours’ will help amateur enthusiasts unlock the secrets of watercolour. Based in the group’s 3 star Toorak Hotel, the break is suitable for beginners and improvers. Arnold Lowrey, painter of 35 years and often seen on the Painting and Drawing Channel on Sky TV, will take you through the 4 day course.

Non painting partners are welcome to come along and enjoy the break as there is no shortage of things to do, both at TLH Leisure Resort and in the surrounding area.
