It’s official – 100 per cent of homebuyers who purchase a new home from south Wales developer Lovell would recommend the company to a friend.

In a recent survey, every buyer who bought a property from the company in south Wales in 2009 said that they would happily recommend Lovell to any friends looking for a new home.

“We’re really grateful to everyone who took the time to respond to our survey and we’re delighted to have received such positive feedback,” says Lovell regional sales manager Kate Rees. “It’s vital that anyone buying a home from us knows that the property they are purchasing is of the highest quality. It’s fantastic that our customers have given us this great endorsement.”

Lovell has just released homes built in the second phase of its Maes Ifor housing development in Taffs Well, just outside Cardiff. The company’s stylish two-bedroom Weston home is now available at the development from £141,995. This popular house style, which comes complete with allocated parking, features a spacious living room and kitchen / dining room on the ground floor. On the first floor are generously-proportioned bedrooms, a bathroom and additional storage space.

Also on offer is the company’s Moreton house type which is available from £184,000. This three-bedroom family home features a living room and kitchen / breakfast room on the ground floor. On the first floor is a master bedroom, complete with en-suite bathroom, two additional bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Phase two at Maes Ifor will feature 20 homes in total. Six of the two-bedroom Weston house types at the development will be sold through Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Homestep low-cost home ownership scheme. The Homestep initiative helps buyers nominated by the council by offering them the chance to purchase a property at a discounted rate. When a home is sold through Homestep, the council retains 25 per cent of the freehold value of the property. Buyers repay the council’s 25 per cent share – at the market rate – when their home is sold.

For more information, please visit the Maes Ifor marketing suite, off Moy Road, Taffs Well, Cardiff CF15 7AT, open from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, and from noon to 5pm on Sunday.

Coming soon – new homes at Blenheim Chase

Later this month (April), Lovell is also set to release the first six of 37 homes being built in the second phase of its Blenheim Chase development in St Dials, Cwmbran. The new homes – a mixture of two- and three-bedroom houses – have already created strong interest with many purchasers reserving properties at the development before they were built.

Prices for the new homes at Blenheim Chase will be revealed when phase two of the development is officially launched at an open weekend on 24 and 25 April.

For more information on the development, or the open weekend, please visit the marketing suite at Ty Gwyn Road, St Dials, Cwmbran NP44 4AB, open daily from 10am to 5pm.

“Maes Ifor and Blenheim Chase are perfect for homebuyers looking for their first home, or for growing families who need that extra bit of space,” says Kate Rees. “Both are also set in prime locations with good road and rail links to Cardiff and the surrounding area. I’d urge anyone who is interested in moving to either development to contact us immediately and avoid disappointment.”
