The Excelsior Hotel Ernst wins the hat trick

The Excelsior Hotel Ernst in Cologne has achieved the hospitality hat trick after being announced as one of the most valued hotels in Cologne by German hotel reservation website hotel.de.

After receiving the Busche Gala award for ‘Hotel of the Year for Germany 2010’ and the Leading Hotels of the World ‘Leaders Club Guest Recognition Award of Excellence’ in 2009 the 5* luxury hotel has another accolade to add to their collection.

The award was based on the opinions of customers who had booked a room at the hotel through hotel.de. Each customer was asked to assess the hotel on their overall satisfaction with regards to room quality, cleanliness, and friendliness, competence of staff, the price-performance ratio, as well as breakfast and the two hotel restaurants.

Hotel Managing Director Wilhelm Luxem said: “I am delighted with this honour, and glad that our employees are being recognised for their achievements and everyday work. It is an honour to have received this award for Cologne. It will motivate us to maintain our efforts to deliver the highest quality in personalised service”.

The Excelsior Hotel Ernst is a member of ‘The Leading Hotels of the World’ and is centrally located in the heart of Cologne, opposite the Cologne Cathedral and at the centre all events including the Christmas markets in Cologne. The hotel is a two-minute walk from the main shopping districts, the Cologne perfume houses and the famous breweries and beer kellers of the city.

Standard bedrooms start from €270 Bed and Breakfast.
