Heritage Collection homes come to Royal Berkshire

No fewer than four elegant show homes will open their doors in Bracknell this weekend (May 8 / 9) – marking the first showcase of the style and quality of Redrow’s New Heritage Collection in the south of England.
Visitors to Redrow’s Windsor Park development, part of the wider Jennett’s Park venture, can view these instantly recognisable traditional homes in all their glory, thanks to a ‘show village’ that has been professionally styled and furnished by an expert team of interior designers.
A range of 34 different homes, The New Heritage Collection is a premium housing product with more than a hint of nostalgia. Externally it’s been influenced by the ‘Arts and Crafts’ era, but inside the homes boast a specification to meet the needs of modern lifestyles.
Redrow has deliberately set out to reintroduce a high degree of individuality to the way its homes look and feel.
Mary Timlin, sales director for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), said: “With four homes to look around in the show village, potential purchasers will have plenty to inspire them at Windsor Park.
“Royal Berkshire is the perfect location for us to showcase our first New Heritage Collection homes in the south of England, as the traditional setting reflects our desire to reintroduce time-honoured, high quality designs and building methods.
“And homebuyers can really get into the swing of things at the launch event, where we will have an ‘old school’ swing band entertaining visitors to hint at our return to building homes the way people remember.”
The show village caters for a wide spectrum of discerning purchasers from single professionals through to larger families.
Designed to suit a single person or a young couple, the interior of the two-bedroom ‘Evesham’ combines Italian-influenced furniture with clean contemporary lines and warm wood finishes, alongside woven wool fabrics and set against crisp white walls.
Young families’ needs are catered for in the three-bedroom ‘Broadway’, which is all about bright and inviting fresh spring colours and crisp white linens.
For those moving further up the property ladder, the four-bedroom ‘Lincoln’ is aimed at executive family buyers. It introduces a chic colour scheme of ivory, soft metallics and rich plums, alongside wenge wood and glass furniture.
Created for sophisticated tastes the contemporary design centres on the family hub of the kitchen breakfast room.
The luxuriant, six-bedroom ‘Hampstead’ rounds off the collection at Windsor Park, delivering an opulent mix of fabrics and finishes. Statement window dressings, classical furniture and a colour scheme of rich gold and soft greys and blues highlight the space and depth of this superior family home. The children’s bedrooms have been magically themed in the style of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and a planetary observatory. On the top floor there’s a gymnasium.
Current availability of New Heritage Collection homes at Windsor Park includes two to six-bedroom homes, priced from £229,950 to £489,950.
The blueprint for Jennett’s Park includes a country park of 91 acres and also features a doctor’s surgery, primary school and 10 play areas. Approximately half of the development is set aside for open space, retained woodland and recreational areas.
