The sky’s the limit at Mirdif City Centre
Playnation - a dedicated leisure and entertainment destination in Mirdif City Centre is providing people of all ages with a fun-filled mall experience.
A total of five exciting leisure experiences is integrated within Playnation - the latest initiative from Majid Al Futtaim Leisure - and features something for everyone. From the adrenaline thrills of iFly, an indoor skydiving centre and Soccer Circus, a fully interactive football attraction, to the excitement of Magic Planet and Yalla! Bowling through to the children’s edutainment attraction Cité des Enfants – Playnation has been designed to invigorate the senses and bring out participants’ inner child.
The 12,000 square metre arena is packed with both entertainment and educational attractions for all ages and provides a refreshing mall experience.

iFly Dubai Sky diving
iFly Dubai is the first public indoor skydiving centre in the GCC and allows people of all ages to safely and comfortably experience the thrill of skydiving indoors. iFly Dubai employs patented wind tunnel technology to provide the safest, most efficient and realistic skydiving experience possible. Using two identical gigantic fans of more than three metres in diameter with a total of 800 horsepower, the powerful turbine can produce winds of up to 200kph allowing participants to experience the thrill of freefall without launching themselves from a plane. Flyers are provided with a jumpsuit, helmet and goggles to ride a current of air, within a crystal clear acrylic tube.
Cité des Enfants, Edutainment
Cité des Enfants Dubai is an edutainment concept combining education and entertainment that is unique to Playnation and is specifically designed to allow children between the ages of two to seven explore and develop through an interactive learning experience. Originating from France, Majid Al Futtaim Leisure has joined forces with Parisian Cite des Sciences et de l’industrie (CSI), to build their first permanent Cite des Enfants outside of France. This unique 2000 square metre educational arena with 97 different exhibits across five zones designed around learning through play has been put together by a team of scenic artists, designers, educationalists, and child psychologists, to allow for exercising the body and mind and to foster cognitive learning.
Soccer Circus and Team Zone Dubai
Fans of the beautiful game will have a chance to hone their skills in this fully interactive football attraction. Soccer Circus Dubai is for everyone - from age five to 70 - to play, using real footballs in a series of interactive and fully automated games. The nature of the attraction has a broad appeal to families and individuals, as well as football followers. Soccer Circus began three years ago in Glasgow, Scotland and is the brain child of former Premier League manager and international footballer Kevin Keegan. This is the first Soccer Circus in the Middle East.
Team Zone comprises three five-a-side pitches, and is a large indoor sporting complex. It will allow residents and visitors to Dubai the ability to play sport all year round in a cool environment. Sports on offer in Team Zone will be indoor soccer/futsal, badminton, cricket, and hockey.
Yalla! Bowling Lanes and Lounge
Yalla! Bowling is a 12 lane state-of-the art cosmic ten pin bowling attraction featuring advanced video simulation and video games. Aimed at the whole family but particularly appealing to teenagers, the attraction also consists of a pool and billiards area and a games section. The look and feel of Yalla! Bowling Lanes and Lounge is set to create a new benchmark in the indoor bowling experience. And to keep hunger pangs at bay the area will also be home to the all-American diner Johnny Rockets. This fun and friendly venue with the look and feel of old Americana will serve up simple, great-tasting food from a menu of favourites, including juicy hamburgers, hand-dipped shakes and malts and freshly baked apple pie.
Magic Planet
Magic Planet is a family entertainment centre that provides fun for the whole family. The first Magic Planet opened in 1995 in the Deira City Centre. Over the years Magic Planet has expanded across the region with outlets in Muscat, Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait and closer to home Ajman & Sharjah. Mirdif City Centre is the location for the tenth outlet and the third outlet in Dubai alongside mall of the Emirates and Deira City Centre.
