Staff at Taylor Wimpey’s Acres Edge development in Helston got into the festival spirit over the weekend by inviting local children and residents to decorate the development’s railings, in support of the town’s annual Flora Day event.

The housebuilder joined the residents of Helston in the Flora Day celebrations, by making the most of Acres Edge’s outdoor space.

Janine Davey, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Exeter, commented: “Flora Day is part of being a Helston resident and we enjoy celebrating with our residents every year! Living in Helston provides residents with a fantastic community spirit, something which is showcased every year during the Flora Day festivities. We thoroughly enjoyed this year’s celebrations, with our sales consultants and construction workers joining in with the spirit of the day by dancing around the site and our railings certainly looked the part, with their pretty Flora Day flowers.”

Acres Edge offers buyers a taste of the Cornish lifestyle, in a stunning location with a charming fishing harbour and beach close by. The development has a stylish selection of two, three and four bedroom homes in a range of contemporary designs. Prices start at just £149,995.

Helston is a popular destination owing to the beautiful local scenery and nearby stretch of coast, which also benefits from specialist shops, cafes, tea shops and restaurants. The main Cornish road links are easily accessible from Acre’s Edge and Helston is served by regular bus and train services. There are a number of good schools in the area, making this an ideal location for families.

To find out more about the homes available at Acre’s Edge, visit the marketing suite daily from 11.00am to 5.30pm.
