Citroen DS3 competition finds UK’s most ‘unique’ photo

Citroen has revealed the winning image in its DS3 ‘unique’ photo competition.  A panel of judges selected the picture ‘Angel’ designed by David Dunne from Romford, Essex as the entry that most embodied the expression of ‘uniqueness’.  The shot also received more than 1,130 public votes in the competition’s on-line gallery.

The winning image, depicting a girl with angel’s wings, was created by the movement of a sparkler.  The caption, submitted with the picture reads, “Only one sparkler in one movement could have created this.  That sparkler is now gone, and can never be replaced…and an angel, no matter how artificial, will always be unique.”  

The contest, which ran on the Citroen DS3 microsite (ds3.citroen.com/uk), and was promoted via the Citroen Facebook page (facebook.com/citroenuk) challenged budding photographers to capture life’s unique moments.  More than a 1,000 ‘unique’ images were submitted to compete for the grand prize - a stylish new DS3 for a year.
