Potential buyers at age exclusive Blagdon Village are being offered even more buying options with the launch of a new part exchange scheme.

Keen to give purchasers choice when considering their move to the village in Middleway, Taunton, developer Retirement Villages Ltd has introduced the scheme, a first for the company.

The part exchange scheme, provided by specialists Hamro PLC, removes the need for a Home Information Pack (HIP) and means no estate agents costs either. With no chain, buyers can remain in their house until they complete on their new home at Blagdon Village.

“We have various schemes to help make the move to Blagdon Village as simple as possible for our buyers,” said Sarah Burgess, Sales and Marketing Director for Retirement Villages. “Adding the part exchange scheme to our portfolio ensures those looking to buy their new home here have more choice enabling them to make the decision that’s right for them.

“With no chain involved, buyers using the scheme could move to their new home and start enjoying the lifestyle on offer at Blagdon Village within four to six weeks of reserving.”

Blagdon Village is a purpose-built development comprising 85 apartments, cottages and bungalows for people aged 60 and over. The village is grouped around the central clubhouse Blagdon Lodge which houses communal facilities including a restaurant, bar, function room, salon, fitness suite and medical suite.

The Open Day at Blagdon Village on Friday, 28th May, between 12pm and 2pm, offers the perfect opportunity to find out more about the part exchange scheme and view the remaining homes for sale.
