Autumn walking holidays in Jersey

17th May 2010 Print

Put your best foot forward on an autumn walking holiday in Jersey – taking in coastal footpaths, picturesque bays, country parishes and ‘hidden’ gardens – courtesy of Modern Hotels.

This four-night walking break starts on 11 October and visitors can enjoy – under the guidance of a knowledgeable ‘Blue Badge’ guide – one full and two half-day rambles.

Highlights include vantage points created by the WWII Occupation Force, the La Mare Wine Estate, Les Platons – the highest point of the island – the headland of Sorrel Point and the breathtaking private and public gardens of Rozel.

The ground-only twin share price of £189 per person includes half-board accommodation at the three-star Mayfair Hotel in St Helier, airport transfers and guided walks with transport at drop off and pick-up points.

Flights are not included in the price, but can be arranged from a wide choice of regional airports, by the company on request.

The company is also featuring a spring walking holiday starting on 11 April, costing £189 per person.
