Would-be home owners flock to Windsor Park in Bracknell

Would-be home owners voted with their feet when over 100 flocked to the opening of Redrow’s New Heritage Collection show homes in Berkshire in a single day.
The four show homes at Windsor Park in Bracknell proved so popular that five similar homes were snapped up immediately, with many more potential buyers keen to secure a home using part-exchange.
The beautiful properties, which combine traditional exteriors with ultra modern interiors, include the three-bedroom ‘Broadway’ end-terrace priced from £274,950; the four-bedroom detached ‘Lincoln’ from £431,950 and the six-bedroom Hampstead, at £489,950.
The ‘Lincoln’ show home, aimed at executive family buyers, introduces a chic colour scheme of ivory, soft metallics and rich plums, alongside wenge wood and glass furniture.
Created for sophisticated tastes the contemporary design centres on the family hub of the kitchen breakfast room.
The luxuriant, six-bedroom ‘Hampstead’ is the largest of the show homes at Windsor Park and delivers an opulent mix of fabrics and finishes. Statement window dressings, classical furniture and a colour scheme of rich gold, soft greys and blues highlight the space and depth of this superior family home. The children’s bedrooms have been magically themed in the style of Alice in Wonderland and a planetary observatory. On the top floor there’s a gymnasium.
Dawn Dolloway, area sales manager Redrow Homes (South Midlands) said: “Our opening day was fantastic and everyone was so enthusiastic about the show homes. People loved the fact that the homes have their own drives. We also had lots of positive comments about the good-sized back gardens and the high internal specifications.
“Many viewers expressed a keen interest in trading their existing property using our part-exchange scheme, where Redrow effectively acts as a cash buyer. This is a great way of securing the home you want without the stress and expense of selling your existing property.”
The New Heritage Collection at Windsor Park is a premium housing product with a hint of nostalgia. Externally, the design is influenced by the ‘Arts and Crafts’ movement, whilst the interiors boast a high specification to meet the needs of modern living.
Windsor Park is part of the wider Jennett’s Park development, which boasts 135 acres of open spaces, including a country park. There’s a home to suit everyone, from two bedroom properties up to the six-bedroom ‘Hampstead’. The development combines stylish, low-maintenance living with a beautiful, idyllic location.
The area has excellent commuter links with the M3 and M4 motorways close by. The train journey to London’s Waterloo station takes around one hour from Bracknell, whilst journey times to Reading are just 20 minutes.
Bracknell has its own shopping centre, indoor markets, theatres, cinemas and restaurants as well as Downshire Golf Complex, one of the best pay and play courses in the country.
