Scorpion Tigra Exhaust System

Leading exhaust manufacturer Scorpion has released its latest design – a beautifully made cat-back system for the diminutive Vauxhall Tigra Twin Top.

The folding roof model has been popular since its launch – but has sadly had little in the way of tuning parts created specifically for it. The new Scorpion system hopes to redress the balance somewhat and integrates easily with the OEM system, allowing owners to upgrade both the centre and back box for ultimate performance gains – or, if preferred, just the rear silencer on its own.

The system is totally hand-fabricated here in the UK from aerospace grade T304 stainless steel. All pipework is fabricated from 50mm tube and features CNC mandrel bends to optimise gas-flow. All hangers fit directly to stock brackets and rubbers for a swift and easy fitment.

As with any roofless car, sound is all-important, and here the Scorpion system really excels. The note is sporty, without being intrusive and during Scorpion’s own rigorous testing procedures, gains of between 5 and 10 % were recorded. A choice of tail finishers is available. Either the 90mm Daytona or twin-walled ‘Evo’

Prices start at £191.50 for the back box or £335.50 for the full cat-back system.
