Reading is officially Britain’s fastest growing and most prosperous location and is one of the most important towns in England in terms of its commercial significance. The Oracle shopping centre and the neighbouring attractive retail district have helped to make Reading one of the top ten retail destinations in the UK with top brands including John Lewis, House of Fraser, Debenhams and Marks and Spencer. Reading is also home to a broad spectrum of top quality hotels and restaurants such as The Forbury Hotel and Restaurant, Carluccios, London Street Brasserie and Loch Fyne Restaurant. Reading is also famous for its annual music festival and provides a host of leisure opportunities including the Shakespeare in Forbury Gardens and The Madjeski Stadium – home to Reading FC and London Irish RFU clubs.

Reading’s mainline train station has several platforms with connections to Bristol, Birminghamm Oxford, Wales as well as being only 25 minutes to London Paddington**. The town is also adjacent to the M4 motorway, with three junctions leading into Reading. London Heathrow Airport is 30 miles away, with Gatwick 60 miles***.
