Frome goes WAG-tastic!

England’s performance may not have met expectations over the weekend but WAG wannabes from across Frome were more than satisfied with their free pampering at Taylor Wimpey’s Selwood Grove development in Frome.

The housebuilder held a ‘Wannabe Wag’ event on Saturday, giving neglected wives and girlfriends the chance to swap the football frenzy for something much more luxurious. Visitors enjoyed a glass of fizz and some delicious canapés in the stylish Warwick show home ahead of enjoying free pampering.

Local beautician, Pure Indulgence Therapies, was on hand offering mini manicures in addition to Amanda Rayner Hair who was available to make locks look luscious – and all free of charge. Mum and daughter (as pictured), Helen Atkins and Claire Hughes were one of the first over the door to make the most of the free treatments on offer.

Richard Goad, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Bristol said: “Whilst the World Cup may be the most important event of the year for many, we decided to give the neglected wives and girlfriends of die hard fans a treat by holding this event. It was a fantastic event for the ladies and many enjoyed relaxing and spoiling themselves. I would guess our WAGs felt a lot happier than their partners after the England result!”

Selwood Grove is a collection of two, three and four bedroom homes located less than a mile from the centre of Frome. A selection of three and four bedroom homes is currently available and prices start from £184,995.

To find out more, visit the show home & information centre on Butts Hill, open Thursday to Monday from 10.00am until 5.30pm, excluding Thursday when it is opens from 1.00pm & Sunday from 11am.
