Hit the tapas trail in London

Best-selling Fino brand Tio Pepe has teamed up with some of London’s finest Spanish restaurants to launch the first ever Tio Pepe Tapas Trail.

This week-long event in July celebrates the growing passion for Spanish food and drink and the recent explosion of outstanding restaurants across the capital.

To encourage Londoners to take advantage of all of the delicious, authentic Spanish flavours on offer, Tio Pepe has developed the Tio Pepe Tapas Trail. The Trail helps foodies navigate their way between the best eateries and where’s best to drop in for a tapa and a glass of fino, at more than one place, just like the Spanish.

Downloadable tapas maps and loyalty cards are available at tiopepe.co.uk containing tapas routes, an offer for a free glass of Tio Pepe with each tapa bought, and the chance to win a trip to Jerez*.

Those taking part in the trail can enter the chance to win a weekend trip to Jerez in Spain, the home of tapas and fino, by visiting three restaurants and collecting three stickers on the loyalty card.

The Tio Pepe Tapas Trail week runs from Monday 12th to 18th July 2010.
 
Participating restaurants include Fino, Bar Pepito, Pinchito, Camino and Iberica.
 
Tio Pepe is a very pale, very dry fino which drinks like a dry white wine. It should be enjoyed very cold and matches well to lots of different foods including tapas, nuts and olives, bread and ham, seafood, Asian flavours and even fish and chips.
