Volvo Trucks opens new Luxembourg dealership

Private dealership Centre Poids Lourds has opened a new, ultra-hi-tech facility in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, close to the booming industrial site of Bettembourg.

With a total surface area of 21,000 m² it is one of the largest facilities of its kind in Europe. The 2,500m² workshop has 25 doors and includes a vehicle inspection area, test benches, a test track and a state of the art automatic parts stocking system. In addition to the usual range of services and repairs, the new dealership also offers calibration of digital tachographs and a tanker repair service.

"We have high hopes for this new dealership in a region that boasts considerable potential. Thanks to easy access to the major motorway networks, drivers operating the international routes will be able to benefit from a more extensive service offering, allowing us to reinforce our position in Luxembourg," says Pierre Antoine, one of the owners of Centre Poids Lourds.

All told, Volvo has 83 workshops and dealers in the Benelux area.
