KYB ‘springs into action’ with UK coil spring catalogue

KYB has introduced a new coil spring catalogue specific to the UK market.

The catalogue is easy to read and gives details of KYB’s K-Flex coil spring range which is made to original equipment (OE) specifications. This ensures all springs comply with block exemption regulations requiring components to be manufactured to the same specification as those fitted to new vehicles.

Taper Wire Miniblock Springs

KYB springs use progressive taper wire technology which ensures each coil fits neatly inside the adjacent coil when compressed, and KYB’s rugby ball shaped Miniblock springs use this to provide a high level of performance.

KYB recommends that as coil springs are a vital part of a vehicle’s suspension system they should be replaced every four years or 50,000 miles, and where possible changed at the same time as shock absorbers.
