TV interior designer gives her top tips

Homeowners who are struggling to sell their property are being invited to pick up expert style tips and make your home stand out from the crowd by meeting a top interior designer.
TV stylist Chehvani Leonard, who has worked on top shows such as C4’s How To Look Good Naked and BBC1’s the Unsellables, is leading an interior design workshop set to take place at Millers Gate on Thatcham Avenue in Quedgeley.
From 11am until 2pm on Saturday July 17th, Chehvani will be giving her top tips on decorating homes, as well as talking style-savvy homeowners through this year’s top interior trends to help make any home stand out.
She will also be holding question and answer sessions, perfect for anyone looking to give their home a style makeover to help sell their property this summer.
Linda Androlia, sales and marketing director for Miller Homes West Midlands, says: "In today’s challenging market conditions, the average time to sell a property on the second market is taking much longer than in more buoyant times. This is why Millers Gate in Quedgeley is offering local vendors the opportunity to pick up some top designer tips on how to best present your property.
“Alongside these useful tips, Miller Homes can assist customers in selling their property on the Miller Homes Move maker scheme. This scheme allows customers to choose their new home, while Miller Homes will manage and monitor the agents selling your property. When we have found a buyer, we will even pay the estate agent fees for you."
Millers Gate is part of Kingsway Urban Village combining community living with rural appeal. Manor Farm is a short walk away with residents able to enjoy the recently restored Grade 2 listed building and its vast grounds. Gloucester city centre, just a short drive away, offers enough to keep all residents occupied from its historically beautiful Cathedral to Kings Walk Shopping Centre.
Chevani, whose TV credits also include FIVE’s Cowboy Builders, said: “We spend too much time in our homes and it’s important for them to be inspiring spaces for all who reside within them. The session will very much be about current trends and finding ways in which people can look to personalise their home and make it appealing to buyers with their very own design touches.”
Chevani Leonard will be helping lead the Millers Gate interior design workshop from 11am – 2pm on Saturday 17 July. For more information about the development and the design day, visit: millerhomes.co.uk
