Moving on up in Bristol

Come and view the new show apartment this weekend

Since launching in spring, The Works, Linden Homes’ development at Great Western Dockyard has received a huge amount of interest from house hunters in Bristol. This has lead to an impressive number of sales, which is only set to move to greater heights – the third floor in fact.

That’s because from this Saturday (17th July) Linden Homes will be launching its brand new marketing office, situated on the third floor. Previously located on the ground level, the new suite will allow interested parties to appreciate the elevated views from these apartments in Bristol, which overlook the Harbour.

As well as gaining invaluable advice from the sales team, visitors to the new suite will also have a chance to see the 2 bedroom show apartment or the 1 bedroom view home, enabling them to have a little taste of what living at this historic yet contemporary development could really be like.

The new show apartment features stunning views across the river. The spacious hallway leads to an open plan living/dining/kitchen area, where you will be wowed by the light and space available, as well as the bathroom and both bedrooms, with the master benefiting from en suite facilities.

The Works, the first phase of the prestigious scheme, is located next to the ss Great Britain (ssGB) and is a major regeneration project that marks a new chapter in the story of the floating dockyard.

It features a collection of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments in Bristol that are quickly becoming the most sought after address in the city. Built in conjunction with the ssGB Trust and incorporating the Trust’s new visitor centre, the development is built on the footprint of Brunel’s original steam works and will echo the buildings that were lost in the Second World War.

But whilst the external elevations may hark back to a golden age in Bristol’s maritime history, inside it is a very different story. The individually designed apartments have been arranged to provide the flexible space and masses of light that are so important to contemporary living. Specification is to the high standard you would expect in such a prestigious development and there is a choice of views from large windows with the water, the cityscape and ssGB herself vying for attention.

Prices currently start at around £150,000 for a 1 bedroom apartment. It is clear that this will be a unique opportunity for contemporary style living amidst so much of the city’s heritage and with easy access into the city and Clifton, The Works is an enviable place to live.

If you want to view these new apartments in Bristol, visit the new marketing suite this weekend, located on Gas Ferry Road and open from 10am until 5pm.
