If you’re visiting Sarasota on the Gulf Coast of Florida this summer, make sure you head to the Sarasota Visitor’s Centre for a free serving of ice cream from the local Big Olaf Creamery.

Visitors staying in the area until the 31st August can choose from bizarre flavours such as Green Tea, Candyfloss, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Birthday Cake and Mudslide.

A favourite among locals, Big Olaf’s is homemade ice cream from a small creamery in Sarasota’s Amish village of Pinecraft. The shop, on Siesta Key, is just a hop away from the award winning white sands of Siesta Key Beach so why not enjoy your ice cream whilst walking along what was recently voted the ‘Second Best Beach in the US’. Also why not take part in the Olaf Ice Cream Hunt in the area and attempt challenges such as finding Olaf and texting in a photo for even more ice cream.

Seven nights’ accommodation at the Holiday Inn Lido Beach including return flights from London Gatwick to Tampa and seven days car hire costs £1,305 per person. Price is based on two people sharing, to book visit: americaasyoulikeit.com
