Making Britain greener

We all like to think we are doing our bit for the environment by way of things like recycling, cycling instead of driving and turning down the heating when it’s not needed but on the whole it seems Britain is falling behind our European neighbours when it comes to the race against climate change.
A new Europe-wide study has found we rank only 6th out of 10 countries when it comes to our attitude to the environment and our overall energy consumption, trailing way behind the top ranked Spain.
So how do can we lift our game, both individually and collectively to get Britain to the top of the table when it comes to being the greenest nation in Europe?
In order to help you make some worthwhile changes and do your bit for the environment EDF has launched the Team Green Britain campaign to get all of us involved in making the UK as environmentally friendly as possible.
In the following video Professor Nigel Brandon from Imperial College London, author of the Low Energy Alternative Future (LEAF) Report, and Eva Eisenschimmel from EDF tell us where Britain needs improvement and let you know the areas where you can start reducing your energy consumption for the greater good.
