Coventry Building Society and Coventry City FC - a winning team

Coventry Building Society has become the official mortgage and savings partner of the Sky Blues. The new partnership was launched by Ray Ranson, chairman of Coventry City Football Club, and Mark Harrington, Savings Product Manager of the Coventry.

The first new products to be launched will be two new savings accounts, available from Friday, August 6, the day before Coventry City open the new season against Portsmouth at the Ricoh Arena.

The Sky Blues Saver and Junior Sky Blues Saver account, which are both instant access accounts, offer fans a unique way to support their club whilst saving with one of the UK's strongest building societies.

As well as an attractive rate of interest for fans, a payment of up to one per cent of the total money deposited in these accounts will be made by the Coventry to the Sky Blues. At the same time, opening one of these accounts will offer fans a range of exclusive offers and "money can't buy" opportunities.

Coventry Building Society's Savings Product Manager Mark Harrington said he was a lifelong supporter of the club.

Hopefully fans, young and old, will see it is a very special way of saving, as well as being a great support to their team."

Full details of the new Sky Blues Saver and Junior Sky Blues Saver account will be released when the accounts are launched on Friday, August 6.
