Launch success at Wyndham Park

22nd July 2010 Print

Barratt is this week celebrating the successful launch of the long-awaited Wyndham Park. A special event, held at the Manor Hotel in Yeovil, revealed the layout and design of what many believe to be the region’s most exciting selection of new homes.

And there was plenty of interest from would-be buyers looking to put down roots in the town. “We’re thrilled by the response those keen to take a look at the plans and designs for this fantastic new development,” said sales director, Caroline Hill.

“Excitement among would-be buyers was high leading up to the launch. And our team was very pleased to take reservations, on the night, from those eager to stake their claim to a new home. I have absolutely no doubt that this success will continue and we now look forward to the development opening in September.”

The first phase of the development will offer a stunning selection of one and two bedroom coach houses – as well as two and three bedroom homes.

“This outstanding development is popular with both local people and those from further afield because it has the tranquillity of a semi-rural location – with the convenience of the town close by,” said Caroline.

Buyers have the opportunity to take advantage of a number of schemes to help them secure one of the new homes – with Barratt’s MoveMaker and HomeBuy Direct schemes proving particularly popular during the launch event.

With the first homes due for completion in September it is still possible to buy under HomeBuy Direct but time is running out for this government backed scheme and reservations will need to be made in the next couple of weeks to ensure completion in September.

Early availability at Wyndham Park includes the two bedroom Richmond design. It features a large family lounge and dining room with french doors leading out to the rear garden and an attractively designed kitchen with fully fitted modern units. There is a spacious entrance hall and a downstairs cloakroom, leading up to the two double bedrooms.

Upstairs, the master includes an ensuite facility – and there is also a colour coordinated family bathroom.

The three bedroom Maidstone home includes a well proportioned lounge and a modern fitted kitchen with a spacious breakfast area for dining. This attractively designed house also features a downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs, the master of the three bedrooms includes an ensuite facility. And the further rooms have use of the tastefully colour coordinated family bathroom.

Also very popular with early buyers is the three bedroom Eskdale design. It features an entrance hall, a spacious lounge, separate dining room and a modern fitted kitchen. Upstairs, the master bedroom has an ensuite facility – and there is an attractive family bathroom.

“These homes, along with the eye-catching one and two bedroom coach houses, offer a fantastic living space for a wide range of buyers,” said Caroline. “From first time buyers to growing families, we have something for everyone.”

Situated on the eastern outskirts of Yeovil, next to open South Somerset countryside, Wyndham Park is conveniently located within easy access to theA303 and the main Waterloo railway line to London. Yeovil itself has a thriving retail centre and is well served by shopping and sporting facilities.
