Marvic Textiles launches new website

With an increase in demand for trade and retail customers to view fabric and wallpaper swatches online, Marvic Textiles has launched a new website. Established in 1938, Marvic Textiles is renowned for high quality fabrics and wallpapers. Their new site reflects the company’s prestige and heritage while providing a fresh new look online.
Easy browsing and search facility
Acting as an online catalogue, the website marvictextiles.co.uk enables the browser to view products by fabric type, usage or style in the same way as customers would discuss their requirements in the Marvic Textiles showroom at the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. Managing Director Peter Afia says “We found that many fabric sites tend to guide the browser to search by collection yet we realised that this isn’t necessarily how customers wish to look for fabrics. Our aim was to therefore enable them to search our fabrics according to their requirements.” In addition, the site also offers a simple search facility so that visitors can also browse by collection or colour should they wish to do so.
Online swatch requests and order enquiries
Customers may request fabric swatches through the website and order enquiries may be placed. Customer service is important to Marvic Textiles and their knowledgeable sales team therefore continue to have direct contact with their customers whether in person or over the telephone to ensure the right products are being ordered for the right project.
Enhanced zoom for detail
Lifestyle images help create atmosphere while swatches can be zoomed into for detail. The zoom facility ‘lifts’ the fabrics, bringing them to life, by providing customers with a high quality close up of the intricate detail and texture of the fabrics. Through this, one can truly appreciate the superior quality of Marvic’s fabrics.
Trade and Retail friendly
Appealing to both Trade and Retail customers, the site enables interior designers to apply for a trade account while retail customers can view a list of stockists worldwide. Further developments are planned for the site including a mood board which will enable customers to view their chosen fabrics together to help customers to visualise how their scheme might work.
