BBC Good Food Show Winter: Bigger and better for 2010

The BBC Good Food Show Winter will once again play host to a brilliant range of top chefs and culinary stars – Gordon Ramsay, James Martin, Rick Stein and Gary Rhodes will all headline the Supertheatre at the NEC, Birmingham from the 24 – 28 November.

Tens of thousands of visitors will have the chance to see their favourite celebrity chefs in action live on stage in a variety of theatres across the Show – Plus the MasterChef Experience will be back again giving fans the chance to see their favourite TV programme brought to life!

• Supertheatre sponsored by Sainsbury’s – This 2000 seater theatre holds live demonstrations from all the top chefs in the business – closed off from the general public it really gives visitors a chance to get up close and personal with their kitchen heroes! Plus this feature will play host to the star-studded BBC Radio Food and Farming Awards ceremony.

• Masterchef Experience sponsored by Miele – Back again this year the feature will really offer visitors a chance to see what it takes to be a MasterChef – with the opportunity to take part in the iconic Invention Test, visitors can live their culinary dream and even have the chance to have their creations judged by John Torode and Gregg Wallace themselves. There are also opportunities to really brush up their culinary skills and take a MasterClass with past MasterChef Winners and judges.

• MasterChef Restaurant sponsored by Hardys – New this year after being launched to huge acclaim at the BBC Good Food Show Summer. The Restaurant will give visitors a chance to enjoy fine dining in style, with dishes inspired by creations from the hit TV series!

• The Producers’ Village - The very best in specialist suppliers and artisan producers all under one roof. Featuring Henrietta Green’s Foodloversbritainfair.com and Slow Food UK this area will be stuffed full of new and exciting food and drink products that cannot be found in high street stores.

• Drinks – Exhibitors from all over the world will be showcasing the very best wines and spirits they have to offer. Guests can fill their cabinets for Christmas with everything from Australian and Chilean wine to artisan produced London Dry Gin and Barley Vodka. Plus drinks tasting masterclasses with Oz Clarke where visitors can learn how to really appreciate what they are drinking.

• Saturday Kitchen Live - Don’t miss this brand new feature in Hall 20 with wine tastings by Tim Atkin and Susy Atkins, demonstrations by culinary legends plus your chance to take the omelette challenge – have a go at cooking a 3 egg omelette: can you beat the all time champion Paul Rankin’s 15.12 seconds? Pans at the ready!
