Isuzu appoint new Suffolk dealer

13th July 2009 Print
Isuzu Denver Max LE Isuzu’s plans to expand its dealer network representation in the Suffolk area moved forward this month with the appointment of new dealer, Jeffries of Bacton.

Situated in the heart of rural Suffolk, the independent family-owned Jeffries of Bacton – home to the famous hand-made, collectable Bacton Bears – started out as an agricultural repair business in 1951 and slowly evolved into the unique sales operation it is today. A team of experienced and friendly staff oversee a range of new and used, niche brand products.

Based just off the A14 between Bury St. Edmunds and Stowmarket, the dealer is also a retail outlet for Bacton Bears. The vast collection of bears include Steiff Classics, Merrythought and Deans, ranges from little pocket money sized bears, middle sized bears and a wealth of collectables and limited editions.

Philip Jeffries, Dealer Principal, Jeffries of Bacton, said: “We have focused our business on the farming community and it has served us well when dealing with the people of Suffolk. We are delighted to add the Isuzu franchise to our business as we are convinced that by securing this brand, we are investing in a successful product that will meet our current customers’ requirements and those of the future.

Paul Tunnicliffe, Managing Director, Isuzu (UK) Ltd. said: “We have made a number of appointments in 2009 for our continued growth and development. Clearly it is vital that we have the right people with the right skills in our dealer network and Jeffries of Bacton fit in perfectly.”
