Peugeot’s stylish 407 has secured a double win – awarded the ‘Best Family Car’ (for the second year running) and ‘Best Performance Car’ at the British Insurance Car Security Awards (BISCA), hosted at Thatcham – the Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre.
Judges carefully considered the latest new cars on a number of stringent vehicle security and protection criteria, in the cause to fight against car crime.

The Peugeot 407 Saloon and Coupé models both won their categories for the high standard of security equipment that includes: plip activated remote automatic door and boot locking, driveaway locking activation, engine immobilisation, laminated front and side windows, deadlocks, ultrasonic alarm, integrated in-car entertainment system, locking wheel nuts for alloy wheels and many other covert security protection devices.

Peugeot’s marketing director, Andy Sutton, commented: "We are delighted that Peugeot has again been recognised for its high levels of security features in these important awards. It is our main objective to protect customers with the added benefit of having the lowest insurance rates."
