Selling your house can be a highly stressful time for a family and can often end in disappointment when a buyer pulls out. But for the Davies family, moving into their new home couldn’t have been simpler thanks to Taylor Wimpey’s Part Exchange* scheme.

Mark and Kate Davies found their dream home at Stone Pippin Orchard, the housebuilder’s development in Evesham, and snapped up a four bedroom Westbury using the scheme which allows purchasers to move straight into the house they want without the hassle of buyers-chains and estate agent fees.

Mark said: “We fell in love with Stone Pippin Orchard as soon as we saw it and decided to go for the part exchange scheme right from the start. This is because we had to put the deposit down quickly due to the houses at the development selling so fast and didn’t want to be disappointed if we missed out on the home we wanted because we couldn’t sell our own. As it turned out, we actually got more money for our house than we expected by using the scheme it so it was win-win and the support we had from Taylor Wimpey, in particular Julie Zivkovic, the part exchange manager, was superb from start to finish.”

Mark, Kate and their two children aged eight and six are now happily settled in their new home in Stone Pippin Orchard and are enjoying the new space it’s given them.

Mark added: “In the previous house our boys had to share a room which sometimes had disastrous consequences as they bickered at bedtime. Now there’s enough space for each to have their own rooms and they can happily go to bed without squabbling. We have also been able to incorporate a study into the house which is perfect as I often work from home. It’s so peaceful here it’s like living in a different world!”

Anne Wallace, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: “We are delighted to have been able to help the Davies family move into their new home at Stone Pippin Orchard. The part exchange scheme is ideal for homebuyers such as Mark and Kate who are keen to move into the home they want quickly and without the expense and hassle of putting their property on the housing market. With Julie overseeing the whole process, our customers can be confident their move will be dealt with quickly and efficiently causing as little stress and disruption to them as possible.”

Stone Pippin Orchard is a collection of four and five bedroom homes with prices starting at £304,995 situated in an excellent location, just three miles from Evesham town centre. The development is situated within easy reach of the A44, which offers access to all the amenities of Evesham as well as Worcester and all the regional road networks beyond.

Families with young children are well catered for as the highly regarded Badsey First School, a Grade 2 ‘Good’ Ofsted awarded school, is situated just a couple of streets away on School Lane. A number of other good schools are close by.
