Enjoy a taste of Scottish tradition
If you’re looking for a slice of authentic Scottish tradition, Edinburgh’s The King James by Thistle has the perfect package.
Hosted by renowned Scottish entertainer Bill Torrance, diners can enjoy ‘Jamie’s Scottish Evening’; an array of traditional Scottish entertainment and a three course meal in the hotel’s Lothian Suite.
At just £55 per head inclusive of half a bottle of wine, guests can experience fresh produce, such as Scottish salmon, Cranachan broth and Haggis, whilst being entertained by a Scottish cast, including fiddlers, dancers and pipers.
Listen to the resident band playing melodies such as the Scottish favourite, Auld Lang Syne, clap your hands to the jigging Jamie’s Dancers, and look out for the popular ‘Ceremony of the Haggis’ - guaranteed to be a highlight of the evening.
