Kabiri has launched it’s eagerly awaited ‘wishlist’ facility on their online store in time for Christmas.

After speaking to their valued customers, Kabiri has decided to implement a wishlist facility that can be updated daily, have comments attached to each item of jewellery, as well as having the facility to able to email the wishlist to a friend or loved one. To use the wishlist facility, a customer needs to be registered to the Kabiri online store. If a customer does not want to register, Kabiri will shortly be implementeing the Facebook ‘Like’ button, which will automatically post an item to your personal Facebook page. A more niche button will also be installed on each product page for Polyvore users, enabling items to be easily uploaded into their personal sets.

To launch the wishlist facility, Kabiri is running a competition throughout September and October. One lucky customer will win £500 to spend on designer jewellery on the Kabiri site. To enter, a customer just needs to create a wishlist during September and October. The winner will be announced on November 5th. The competition will be open to new and existing Kabiri customers.

Kabiri sees it’s online store as something more than just an e-commerce site, it is a resource for the customer to find out about the individual jewellery designers, with many customers browsing the site like a gallery. Designers have their full collection and designer biography available to view online so customers can spend their time discovering information about the individual designers as well as admiring the collections. A handy ‘ask personal shopper’ email facility, ensures that any customer can still have that one-on-one interaction with a member of staff if any help or advice is needed when making a purchase. The Kabiri blog delves even further into the individual collections and has regular features including interviews with jewellery designers, previews of new collections and In The Studio posts. The blog also allows a conversation to begin with customers away from email, and between themselves about the collections.

Using Social Media as a tool to talk to it’s customers, Kabiri continues to develop both it’s presence on Facebook and Twitter. Recently Kabiri asked it’s ‘fans’ on Facebook if they would like the jewellery to be photographed on models for each product page. The answer was a resounding yes, and this has since begun to be rolled out over the current season collections.

Kabiri currently stocks over 65 international jewellery designers spanning the costume, fashion and fine jewellery fields. Price points start at £20, and reach £60,000 for a one-off diamond brooch by the luxury fine jeweller, Cindy Chao. Many of the designer jewellery collections remain exclusive at Kabiri for a season, which ensures that Kabiri’s valued customers revisit time and again for their jewellery fix safe in the knowledge no one else will have the same jewellery collection.

Kabiri Exclusives include Tomtom, Estelle Deve and Anna Hu.
