London gets a taste of East Anglia

Flying the flag for the Eastern counties, passionate producer Fairfields Farm Crisps will be encouraging visitors to London's Speciality & Fine Food Fair to experience a real taste of the region.
Exhibiting at the prestigious London trade show, which takes place from 5th to 7th September at Olympia, Fairfields Farm Crisps will feature in the Tastes of Anglia section of the show. And with samples of its provenance-packed snacks available for hungry visitors to taste, the small, family-owned company is aiming to prove that East Anglia really does produce some of the finest grub.
With tasty crisps containing Suffolk cheese, Aspall's cyder vinegar, Suffolk chillies and Essex honey, visitors to the show will be able to try samples and chat to owner Laura Strathern on the company's stand 207/k.
"Speciality & Fine Food Fair is a fantastic event and a great opportunity for us to meet our customers and get immediate feedback on our products," says Laura Strathern.
"We're really excited this year as we've designed a brand new stand and for the first time will be displaying some of the wonderful products that we use to flavour our crisps," she adds.
This will be the company's fourth outing at the event, which sees artisan producers from all over the UK and further afield displaying some of the finest produce for high-end food buyers including Waitrose, Fortnum & Mason and the multiples. "Fingers crossed we'll meet some strong new contacts and get East Anglia on the map right across the country," Laura concludes.
