Citroen’s August LCV sales success

In August, Citroen’s LCV sales surged ahead by no less than 66.09% to ensure the company gained a 9.95% share of the market - one of its highest ever market share figures.  The Citroen August LCV sales success reflected a strong, across-the-range performance by Nemo, Berlingo First, Berlingo, Dispatch and Relay models, which resulted in the brand’s August LCV sales reaching a total of 862 units.

With year to date (YTD) LCV sales up a significant 25.74%, to 11,071 units, Citroen is performing well ahead of the total LCV market’s YTD gain of 16.90%.

Robert Handyside, Citroen’s Commercial Vehicle Operations Manager, comments: “Citroen continues to enjoy strong LCV sales success throughout 2010.  The company’s strong sales performance, out-performing the gains of a rapidly rising market, are a reflection of the Citroen LCV range’s customer appeal, advanced design, strong environmental credentials and low cost of operation.”
