Self-drive ski holidays are a great option for families looking for a hassle-free ski break this winter. Not only are you guaranteed to avoid any chaos in the airports, the journey itself becomes part of the holiday, with opportunities for relaxed channel crossings and stopovers.

For families who want to go skiing during the February half term break, Lagrange have put together the following self-drive ski packages, including accommodation, channel crossing, ski hire and lift passes. Les Coches : Seven nights at the Lagrange Prestige self-catering property Les Chalets de Wengen, located only 150m from the lifts and complete with indoor heated swimming pool, spa facilities and communal lounge with open fire, departing February 19th - £2493 total. Price based on two adults and two children sharing an apartment for four, return ferry crossing with SeaFrance, 6-day La Plagne lift pass and one week’s ski hire.

St Lary : Seven nights at the Lagrange Prestige self-catering property Le Clos Saint-Hilaire, located in one of the biggest ski resorts in the French Pyrenees, departing February 19th - £1693 total. Price based on two adults and two children sharing an apartment for four, return ferry crossing with SeaFrance, 6-day St Lary lift pass and one week’s ski hire. Families can also benefit from the children’s club, with prices from as little as £50/child/week.

This is only a small selection of the accommodation available for half term and for the rest of the 2010/11 season.
