Confused.com energy sale
Confused.com has announced it is to give its customers up to £50 cashback when they use the site to switch energy. The price comparison site will offer £50 (£25 per fuel) for customers who switch to Scottish Power and £20 for other providers.
Lisa Greenfield, energy analyst at Confused.com says "The summer has seen the removal of many of the best tariffs available and EDF have announced that it's going to be increasing the cost of its standard electricity from the 1st October, others could be set to follow suit. This is bad news for squeezed households who are already struggling with the costs of their energy. In a bid to take the pressure off, Confused.com is offering cashback to encourage people to switch and save money.
"We're sure users will be pleasantly surprised by the savings and rewards that can be achieved for doing something that's so easy.
"Those who choose not to review their current energy provider and tariff will continue to needlessly waste money.
Despite all the horror headlines, good deals are still available. The best way to find them is to use an accredited price comparison site. With the amount of cashback available, there has never been a better time to shop around."
