Peugeot 4007 Peugeot and BCA launched the new 4007 (Peugeot’s new SUV) and 207 GTi THP 175 onto the used car market in a special sale staged at BCA Nottingham.

The Peugeot Closed Auction at Nottingham offered 200 vehicles and included a selection of 4007 and 207 GTi models, which were offered at auction for the first time. Over 50 franchised dealers attended the event, with a further 40 bidding over the Internet via BCA’s Live Online service.

Bidding was ‘fast and furious’ as the first 4007 and 207 GTi’s were offered. The 2007 registered ‘07’ plate 4007 GT (top specification) HDi 156 models averaged £19,125, while the SE models averaged £16,775 at around 8,000 miles. The 207 GTi (3dr) models averaged £11,850 at 8,000 miles.

Demand was also high across the range of Peugeot product available and 190 vehicles sold on the day for a 95% conversion.

Con Mclaughlin, Peugeot Motor Company Used Vehicle Re-marketing manager commented: "4007 is a key model in our line up and it competes in a sector where residual values are of huge importance. The excellent results seen here confirm both the desirability and the premium quality of our new vehicle. The combination of its versatile design, incorporating a 5+2 seating configuration and sector-leading economy with low CO2 emissions from our HDi diesel engines make this vehicle a sensible choice for the ‘environmentally minded’ customer.

Con added; “BCA have done a great job in presenting this launch and we are delighted with the strong demand and support from our dealer network not just on the launch models, but across the entire Peugeot range.”

BCA’s Alan Gupwell commented "This high profile event marked a very successful launch for 4007 and 207 GTi and underlines the appeal of the Peugeot brand within the used car market.
