Three site managers working for Warrington-based housebuilder, David Wilson Homes North West, have been honoured in the prestigious National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards 2010.

Darren Reaney, Mark Scarlett and Will Smith were all awarded with quality awards thanks to the hard work and dedication they have shown on recent projects in the North West.

Darren was recognised for his work on the Swans Reach housing development in Runcorn, whilst Mark Scarlett and Will Smith received the honour for work on David Wilson Homes’ extensive Chapelford Urban Village project in Cheshire.

The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards are highly regarded throughout the house building sector, with the NHBC carrying out several spontaneous inspections on each site in order to judge which are the best managed and who deserves the quality award accolade.

Almost 13,000 site managers throughout the UK were entered into the competition where they were judged upon every aspect of their job and site, including quality workmanship, site safety and customer service. All three site managers will now go on to the final round of the competition which aims to find the best site manager in Britain.

Managing director of David Wilson Homes North West, Graham Swann, comments:

“The Pride in the Job awards are truly prestigious, so we were absolutely delighted to hear that three of our site managers from the north west region have been awarded with this accolade out of 13,000 applicants. It demonstrates the hard work and dedication that all three have put into their recent developments and we are very proud that their work has been honoured.”

David Wilson Homes North West offers a range of quality homes across the region, with developments in Warrington, Manchester, Chorley and Oldham. For further information visit: dwh.co.uk
